UCAN for Health is about people coming together to make a difference.
We believe a healthy Aotearoa starts with communities that are supported, heard and valued. Everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy, secure and dignified life.
Our UCAN Charter for Health sets out key priorities for a healthier Aotearoa. We work with communities and organisations to raise awareness, share experiences and call for positive change.
Together, we can make a difference.
On 21 October 2026, people across Aotearoa will come together for Hands Around the Beehive — a peaceful national act of remembrance and solidarity for health.
At Parliament, we will remember those whose lives have been affected, and those who have lost their lives, stand with whānau and communities, and call for a health system that supports everyone.
1:15 pm — Gather at Parliament grounds
1:30 pm — Speakers (details to be updated soon.)
2:00 pm — National Minute of Silence
Everyone is welcome to stand together in remembrance and solidarity.
